Mura chided Chandra for sending Nandini away. That he had taken the family respect for a ride. But nothing at all to Nandini for the cheap dance and public consumption of wine.

I was rather scandalized with Mura's actions yesterday. She seem to only show up when the air is filled with Chandra's anger for Nandini, and in this instance rightly so. In fact, he had be very merciful not to send her off to the hangman straight away after the jashn fiasco. People think that the life of a Maharani is all bed of roses, and it is not. Simply because every of her action and behavior is the direct reflection of her husband and hence queens are one of those people who live in the gilded cage. The demand for decorum from them is high and in those days anything and everything out of line is considered as treason.

Here is Nandini, all over Malay. Not even a fly came to ask her what the hell she was thinking, but instead we have the Rajmata plotting with Dadi on how to unite them? Its a rather sick idea actually. why does she feel so compelled to push her son towards the one girl who is doing everything to either harm, humiliate or hurt her son?

If this has anything to do with her promise to Nand (which in fact was unecessary for her to give) about keeping Nandini save, she can do it without having to have Chandra getting glued to this girl.

Has she no concern for her son at all? The son she never got to raise, and I would have thought her life mission now is to ensure that he is happy.

If at all she had some kind of revelation given by god almighty that Nandini is the best for him, she should be focussing on how to mould Nandini to be a suitable wife for him not simply expecting by getting the two tied to each other happiness will bloom.

Seems that the entire Mauryan female clan belongs in straight jackets

This was the shawl that was presented as the shaadi ka joda that Jodha was supposed to have burnt. Then we saw Jalal wear it when Jo accepted the blame for dature ka ark and Ruqaiya just stopped Jalal's sword in time. Also after the tiger incident during his recovery. Jodha also wore it more than 4 times on different occasions - like before the jashn when bakshi gets caught, also on thunderstorm night...but i'm not sure. I remember seeing nothing except Jalal in that scene.☺️

That one shawl has had many origins and uses..😆...there was a scene though where jodha came to give it a present to Jalal and she said that teapot sent it specially to her.

Anyway @bold - yes, we all end up in that bubble Aunty described about Nandini and Chandra, exept its always us and Rajat...whole world stills, clock stopped and its just him and...uff...sigh...us

I have had just about enough of this. I am not coming back here till I put up my next post!

You all rant in unison like a church choir, only at times you are not even in sync.😉 And you do not even touch on the obvious goof ups, like why Chandra does not get up and stop the drunken Nandini from the second moment after she gets started, instead of sitting there as if he was at a matinee performance.😡

Not one of you has noted a key point, that Daadi (however odd this might seem), had no idea till now that Nandini is Padmanand's daughter. She loves her at first sight, true, but she cannot be blamed for forgetting Padmanand's atrocities vis a vis her family.

As for Mura's fixation with her as the ideal wife for Chandra, I am surprised that Ekta's CVs have forgotten to reveal that Nandini has the Akhandasowbhagyavati yog in her kundali, so that so long as she is alive, her husband cannot die. That is something they have used before, but here it is Shailaja who got to that trick first off the bat in her FF!😉

Someone should drop a line to the CVs to let us know of this momentous fact soonest. Then a lot of the repetitive laments here can be canned!😆

And as this one is NOT my Helena 2.0 - and even she had faith in Chandra for her own purposes, and love was never part of their deal - I see no reason to empathise with her.
