The industrious Chandra was only the arrow. The bow was Chanakya. It cannot be denied that without Chanakya, Chandra is a nobody - with or without his lineage. Chandra as i noted before has been brought up with only one goal, rescue Magadh and make it a great nation. Chanakya needed a warrior for that. But he didnt not plan to leave it all up to the warrior. He needed the muscle (which is amply provided by Chandra😳) for his brains. As much as he has thought Chandra the Shastras, Chandra has not had a chance or means to apply it and learn it in practical way. So Chandra is still a baby as far as politics is concerned.

And he is definitely not Jalal who has been brought up to have such steel control over his emotions, hence making him ruthless. Chandra appears to lack control severely. He is like this teen with hormones going ballistics. He is all over the place especially when Nandini is concerned.

The control and focus he had during the war was only because of the revenge he sought from Nand. entire being zeroed on tha tone purpose. Now he is king and Chanakya is no where. Chandra is going through the 'walking' phase...you know when babies learn to walk...they want to walk but they are wobbly and unsteady and they fall, but despite the hurt they still will want to walk. To me that is what Chandra is doing. He is in love, he likes being in love, it hurts to be in love and yet he cannot stop being in love

Beautifully written. 👏 - Anyhow we have to find some explanation for all the silly antics of everyone in the serial. In spite of what is getting dished out, we look forward to watching the dense two on screen. To me, that is the success of the serial so far.

Now i am convinced about the Bindusar portrayed in CAS. With a nutcase mom like Dhurdhara, an ever confused Papa, no wonder he was a Bhondu. Ashoka certainly must have carried Dharma's genes.🤣
