Chandra Nandini |22nd Dec| Thursday Episode WU

The episode opens with Durdhara who is telling two guards that Helena is asking for them because she wants to increase the security of her chamber . Nandini(Who is still in the Prince's get up) is hiding behind a wall supporting a drunk Chandra. After the guards leaves, Durdhara and Nandini starts walking towards Helena's room while supporting a drunk Chandra. Helena enters her room and asks Durdhara, "What is going on here and who is this(Nandini) person?". Durdhara gets nervous and tells Helena, "This our husband, Samrat Chandra Gupta Maurya. He was calling for you. I don't know what he has drank today. We should be thankful to this person(Nandini) as he has helped our husband and brought him here. Otherwise, if someone had seen Chandra like this, it would have brought him bad name. We thought that only who would be able to handle Chandra so we brought him here.". Helena looks happy and says to Durdhara that they did the right thing. Nandini tries to leave(because she doesn't want Helena to recognise her) but Helena stops her and moves to give Nandini her bracelet as a reward. Durdhara takes the bracelet from Helena and gives it to Nandini. Nandini leaves. Helena asks Durdhara, "Now, What are you waiting for?. Durdhara says, "Nothing! I am gonna go now". Helena asks her to close the door.

In next scene, Chaya and Maleyketu's wedding ceremony is taking place. Chandra, Durdhara, Moora looks happy while Nandini looks tensed. The priest asks the couple who will do kanyadaan to come forward and take their place. Chandra moves forward. Nandini also moves forward but Chandra asks Helena to come forward and do the kanyadaan with him. Helena looks very happy after hearing this and thinks to herself, "Now, I am getting all my rights one by one." Helena walks towards Chandra and both sits down. The priest starts reciting the mantras(chants). Nandini doesn't look happy. The priest asks Chaya to put her hand over Maleyketu's but when she doesn't move, Chandra takes her hand and put it over Maleyketu's hand. Chaya looks indifferent. The priest asks Chandra to do some ceremony in which Chandra has to wash Maleyketu's feet with water. Then, the priest asks someone to move forward for the "Gatbandhan". Moora tells Durdhara to do it. Nandini looks unhappy and thinks to herself, "How is Maleyketu passing all tests. There is something behind it". Then, the priest asks Maleyketu to do "sindoordaan". Aftter which, he announces them husband and wife. Nandini tells her sister in law that this is not right. Nandini looks very very angry.

In next scene, Chaya bends down to touch Dadi's feet to take her blessings but Maleyketu stops her saying," You shouldn't bend down in this state. I'll touch her feet and takes the blessings for both of us." Everybody(Except Nandini) seems impressed and Dadi gives them her blessings. A maid comes and says, "Now Chaya's bhabhi has to feed sweet curd to the bridegroom". Durdhara stands up but the maid says that only the eldest Bhabhi can this ritual. Durdhara sits down. Helena looks super unhappy and glares at Maleyketu. Helena, reluctanty walks towards Maleyketu. Helena remembers the time when Maleyketu's bad mouthed her by calling her "only a soldier's daughter". She puts tilak on his head. Maleyketu looks happy and is smirking at her. Then, she feeds him the curd. And, then as she is about to put a pearl necklace around his head, Maleyketu mockingly(after ensuring that nobody is looking at them) says, "I regret my decision of leaving you. But, i know that you still love me". Helena replies, "You're right. I am angry with you but not because you left me. I am angry because i want you dead. You know I am lucky that you didn't marry me because Chandra was in my destiny. And, its you who is unlucky because I am a queen while you're nothing. You can't be compared to Chandra. For me, to be Chandra's wife is the best thing". Maleyketu says that you're lying. He says," Have you forgotten how who were begging me to marry you?". Helena replies, "Now you're married to Chaya. So, try to maintain your relationship with her while you're here". Maleyketu says, "I don't think it will be possible for you". Helena tells him that she doesn't care and her revenge is still due. She puts the necklace around his head and leaves. Maleyketu smirks.

In next scene, Dadi is saying that all are tired because of the wedding but she is happy because the wedding ceremony took place without any hindrance. Moura says, "Why not? It was Chandra Gupta Maurya's sister wedding." Both looks happy.

Moora is sitting with Chandra's adopted mother and asks her if she is happy or not because she has come after a long time to meet Chandra. They both look at Chandra who is sitting with someone and talking with with him. Chnadra's adopted mother says that she can't believe that this is the same chandra who used to play in her play. Moora tells her that she is lucky because she got to experience his childhood. She further asks her to tell her about Chandra's childhood. Adopted mother says that chandra was a unique child. She further adds that Chandra didn't know anything about love. He left me when he was a child. He didn't want himself to be tied around any love or affection. She says, "He used to say that love makes others blind. Now, he has three wives," Chandra who was apparently listening to their conversation walks towards them and says, "I still believe that love makes human miserable". Everybody looks shocked after hearing him say that especially Chaya. A maid comes and tells them that its time for "Bidaai". Moora asks Chandra to take Chaya to her room.

Chaya's bidaai is happening. She throws "rice" over her head. Then. Chandra takes her hand and they leaves. Maleyketu is grinning in the background.

Chandra and Chaya are walking. Chandra says," Chaya, I know you'll find my words foul but it is the truth that loves makes human weak". Chaya replies, "No, Chandra. This is not true. Love is an experience which makes life beautiful. Everyone should experience this. I hope that someday you'll experience it too. Only then you'll realize its value". Chandra doesn't agree with her. Chaya says that lovers resides within each other and she still loves Satya.

In next frame, Maleyketu is walking with his two friends. They calls him lucky saying that he always wanted to marry Magadh's princess and now he has, If not Nandini then Chaya. Maleyketu says that when he decides something he gets its. Then, they starts praising Chandra. Maleyketu gets angry and says that one day he'll become the King.

In next scene, Chandra and Chaya are inside a room. Chaya says that she still loves Satya. Chandra tells her that she is married now and its unethical to love someone besides your husband. Chaya leaves. Chandra says to himself, "Love has made her so miserable. Please, keep it away from me."
