Disclaimer- Please understand I have nothing , I mean nothing, against the actors themselves. They are just doing what they are asked to. But the makers- The person who signs it off ?
It was not enough that the British changed a lot of Indian history to their whims and fancies that now small screen is or should I say Ekta is bent on changing it again?
1. CGM is considered one of the greatest kings of India. He did not become an emperor only because of Chanakya, but chanakya too saw the qualities of a kin/emperor in CGM. The show portrays CGM as a mere puppet in the hands of his guru and the ladies, who screams now and then.
2. Chanakya was supposed to be so clever that he almost foresaw the future- in terms of consequences of situations and knew people well to judge what would be their next steps /actions and reactions. Here...I don't see the clever , smart, planning administrator. He also knew how to talk his way out of any situation. Poor dialogues for the most important character even if the focus here is Chandra and Nandini. They can't butcher his personality. It almost feels like Helena advices him at every step.
3. It is said that dhananand (worse than his father) and his father were terrors to the poor and women folk. All they did was drank and slept around. Rakshas was the one who kept the kingdom together. CGM came as a big relief to people and their horrible life.
In the current CGM series it feels like padma nand was a great father and dhananand was a devoted husband sweet brother and CGM is the one bringing terror in the hearts of the people Like really. His sister is depressed and scared, Nandini is assaulted, dhurdhsra the same queen is dumb, Helena like a vampire. Nandini and nand's women folk are tortured and want to run. Non of the Dasia seem to be finally happy and releaved CGM is the king. I can understand MU but Nandini is portrayed as such a blindsided woman that didn't even bother to se what was going on. Her mommy is not surprised that they aren't treated badly, etc etc. list goes on
I don't even want to go on about rakshas...
So what the heck are they ding to history? Tweaking it a little for entertainment purposes I have heard and can bare but changing facts completely when there are children probably watching . Why are telling them how horrible CGM was until Nandini came into his life? She was his savior? This is unacceptable.
How can anyone let a show run like this?

And yes I can stop watching the show too just like a trespasser who stands by and watches an accident and see a dying person and leaves just because they don't like accidents. That is not ok so, I am speaking up.
