Coming to Nandini how on earth is it possible to envision a love story in the far future? Agreed she never knew the real Nand but the Nand she knew was not unreal either. He might have been a monstrous king but he was a doting father too. Even if she were to know the full truth, will it be sufficient to ignite love for her father's killer? She may come to grudgingly respect Chandra when she sees he is a better person than her father or even a better king. But love him? Is it remotely sensible to show that? 😕 How can she love the man who slaughtered her brothers? Does it even make sense? Or has Ekta taken the audience for fools who will accept anything she will show? That might be the case else most of her shows wouldn't have become TRP toppers.

^^This. Agreed with every word you said. For Nandini CGM killed her father (who was the nicest man, from her pov) and brothers. Right now I see no scope of N ever falling for CGM. Even if later on she finds out that Nand was not a good person, it still cuts no ice. And what about her brothers who were good but just on the "wrong" side? When I saw the promos I was pretty excited. I ship CN too :D The have good chemistry imo, but having said that, the way the scenes are being played out, the love story becomes less and less appealing. It's not like one finds out that deceased father was bad and suddenly changes sides - it't not that black and white. Also today's scene with Nand and Nandini, where he lifts her up, tries to get her to safety, apologises to her with his last breath were moving. That was pure paternal love. I actually felt bad for the father-daughter duo.

Lovely points you've made. I have written similar things in other posts. Let me establish though, that I am a ShweRaj/ChanDini shipper, but at the same time I genuinely don't get this matrimony/future love angle (at this point at least). It is practically IMPOSSIBLE to fall in love with a person who has been responsible for the death of your family. Both for Chandragupta and Nandini, it's very very hard to imagine them developing soft feelings for each other logically speaking...even if in distant future so to speak. Magar ye Ekta Kapoor ka serial hai bhai, what logic are we trying to decipher here? We have been given good looking, well performing leads, equally competent character artists, an entertaining dramatic storyline, fantabulous sets and costumes (gotta admit, she's got some superb job done with art and set design), epic soundtracks . Bas aur kya chaiye? Popcorn khao mast ho jao 😆
