Ok ...Whatever I am going to write here is not to offend any fan.

Well I dont know when you started watching the show. But as an individual who has watched this show since its inception can say that the show was destroyed because of extra romance (ashwaki) . The show never stick to history . Its a fact . But still it grabbed eyeballs...Why ...was it because of any jodi...or romance ...No its because the show had elements of Love, hatred...Politics...Conspiracy. Everything. The show is about Ashoka The Great ...Not some random Ashok . Real Ashoka's life is very much entertaining and adventurous. Pre-leap everything was in limit. Though even then they had dragged. But history has very limited information about Ashoka and his childhood. But has ample information about Adult Ashoka.

When leap happened. many thought that they will see what they were waiting for ...ChandAshoka and his journey to the throne and Ashoka The Great. But what we got...A non existent amar prem gatha...of Ashok- Kaurwaki...Yes Kaurwaki was an important queen. Queen's edict is itself a proof. But was she the only love of Ashoka. If so then what about his other wives especially Devi ??? Every character was turned into Ashwaki shipper. Seriously is this some romantic show ??? The whole story revolved around Ashwaki . Akhand BHarat was turned into a joke ..What to say about Kaurwaki. She was turned into a self obsessed , selfish brat...who has no other job other than chanting Ashoka's name. Is this love.

Real Rani kaurwaki married Ashoka during his exile in Kalinga and she was the one who stood against her husband in Kalinga war. That's the worth of Kaurwaki.When all the characters are shown worshipping including the first wife of Ashoka. And then TRP's dip. Whom will the audience blame. Ashwaki or Ashvi. ??? The marriage of Ashoka- Devi was turned into an epic insult.And the actress playing Kaurwaki is not upto the mark.

Romance should be a part of the show but it should not be the central theme especially in a show like Ashoka. Else they should change title to "Ashok -Kaurwaki ki Amar prem gatha " which they said in one of the promos 😆...

And TRP's this week is 1.8 .As far as I know TRP's were below that last week. Even 1.8 is less. But its position has improved . Nothing else 😆...The show's TRP has decreased . Yes Kajol needs improvement.But she has been turned into a side character .

Now there are rumors of show ending ...What have they shown post leap ??? Nothing...The main crux will remain untouched or will be rushed . Nothing else

Note: Instead of Ashwaki v/s Ashvi, if the fans see from a neutral point , probably you will understand what damage has been done .
