Yeah no offense to Mohit fans but I gave Mohit the benefit of the doubt. He is doing a good job and his fans will enjoy his work.

But here is the thing.

CAS fans are not enjoying this Ashok. It's barely recognizable.

Sid's Ashok did show shades of his Chandaal personality. Mohit doesn't catch that. I am sorry.

And multi layered? I don't see it. All I see is a angry young Devdas.

Kudos to Mohit for his efforts. But he should take a leaf out of Ankit's book and study the mannerisms of Sid's Ashok.

And this is a message to all the fans of the new cast. Most of you guys only started watching this show after your favorite actor was roped in. And frankly speaking that is the only reason you watch this show. Don't be surprised if the general opinion here is critical of the lackluster portrayal.

I am watching this show ever since the beginning. And I am a CAS fan.Portrayal and Characterization matters to me more than the actor playing it.
And I never said that the Ashok which we are seeing on-screen now is multi layered.I said that the grown up Ashok is supposed to be multi layered. And Mohit can play that perfectly. If the CVs choose to portray Ashok as a Robinhood cum Roadside Romeo then it's not the actor's fault.

The post leap characterization of Ashok is completely dissatisfactory,I completely agree.

But here it was about the actor playing the character and not the character.Execution of a character depends 75% on the writer and 25% on the actor playing it.Mohit is giving in his best. But it's the CVs whom I blame for the pathetic characterization.

ok... Mohit is an eyesore for some and the apple of the eye for some..lets be happy with our own perceptions..
but i agree with andromeda on the point that Siddharth's portrayal of Ashok and Mohit's portrayal shud be different..because both actors IMO have had their own understanding of the character of Ashok.

Secondly about the layering of the character of Ashok.. sorry to say but the current story writer is highly incompetent.. if only Contiloe brings back Utkarsh Naithani, the real layers of ashoka will be revealed.

PS: its heartening to see that atleast people here do realise that Mohit is trying his best

PPS: I have been a watcher of this show (maybe not an avid follower like others, but i hv been watching it nvertheless.).to be frank it WAS OTT then.. its STILL OTT now as well

as far as General opinion is concerned.. well within every faction there is a general opinion..

Am I the only one who's hoping that Jaggu will kidnap Kaurwaki and carry her willy-nilly to Kalinga? And congrats to Vit for standing up to KVK though he let the cat out of the bag.And KVK can't even share a meal with her future MIL without her future-husband present? Now's the time to butter up Dharma. The post-leap Ashok is one whipped mama's boy.Dharma has a huge say in whom he marries.

I hope the CVs have something worse in mind for Khallatak.I thoroughly enjoyed his dream sequence. It's given that he'd search Ashok's belongings and find Dharma's sari. That and the necklace is going to let everyone concerned know that he's actually Ashok.

Sushim and Ashok will decimate the other contenders from either end of the list.As one of young Ashok's teammates said in the previous Mahayodha competition: "It's always about the Royals. The rest of us don't stand a chance."

@Bold,If Jaggu does that then he will do something useful for the first time in his worthless life.Jaggu and KVK both need counselling.Maybe they should go on a long family vacation to mend their father-daughter relationship or maybe KVK can manage Kalinga.Though I am not in favour of the latter option because if this KVK manages Kalinga then Kalinga's days are numbered.
I wanted that dream sequence to be true, man. But Charu and Sushim should atleast acknowledge Khallaktak's efforts for them before the poor man leaves for his heavenly abode.

And yeah,it's Sushim vs Ashok all the way!!⭐️

Watching Khallatak's dream was a great momentary relief for all of us. It was the kind of dream one never wants to end!

However, I do understand that Khallatak is needed as Sushim's cheerleader in those situations where it would be unnatural for VQ Charu to be present. Therefore he may be kept around till Sushim's end, give or take a few epis.

Other than that, Vitt was good in todays episode. KVK floated along as usual. Last and also the least, Jaggu made a pathetic appearance for a moment: Kaling is on autopilot as its king obviously has nothing else to do than run around spying on his daughter.

All eyes on the tournament. 😊

Mohit is not a bad actor but his acting is not suiting the role. Yes the blame is on the writers for making the characters so poor but it's also on the actors to work on it. I love Mohit's acting but right now I am not getting the feelings that I am watching Ashok. Sid played very well even the angry Ashok. Mohit looks like a baby who is not getting what he wants. There is a clear difference between the two Ashok. Little Ashok had that junoon to defeat everyone. I don't see that junoon in grown up Ashok. Shouldn't this Ashok have more junoon than the younger one ? In fact Sushim looks more in junoon than Ashok. 😆 Now I agree the writing is pathetic but can't Mohit try to portray it differently. It's very hard for the viewers to see same character sounding so different. Excuse us if we don't find Ashok in Mohit.

PINK - God that was hilarious...but so true. I would rather Jaggu locks her up in a tower forever, we would at least get some KVK free episodes 😆
RED - I think that is the most awaited moment for all the fans. Just hope CV's don't manage to mess this up. They have a history of doing so.
