Sanjeeda can do justice to Asandhimitra if they ever show her.I also have some other names in my wishlist.
It makes me sad to see an exemplary woman like Asandhimitra being ignored.
All of Ashok's wives played an important role in his life.Mainly Devi,Karuvaki and Asandhimitra.
He loved each one them in a different way and all these three had influenced his life in some way or other.

Yup and even ashoka's downfall started after asandhimitra's death... she was one of his greatest adviser.
But the way they were focussing on KVK i doubt that they would take trouble to bring asandhi...

BTW i am liking the bonding between Devi and Ashok... Kajol looks surely gorgeous in simple clothing and looks good with mohit too... CVs are doing a gr8 job in building relationship btwn them gradually. Thats why i guess there scene doesn't looked forced... their bonding seems natural...

But now my most fav is ashoka and Vit... Man... cute bros they are..

But CVs should understand that the love track is not at all working... when coming about this show.. i am more eager to know about ashok's journey towards the throne the phases of chandashok and dharmashok... Can't wait to see mohit as ruthless witty Chandashok...

PS: Man... Mohit is looking so good today... that dhoti reminds me of his Jallu entry scene..☺️

Right.Karuvaki was no doubt an important part of his life but his courtlife and internal rivalry was important too.
And the real AshVaki's story was more subtle and passionate. The real Karuvaki was a brave and beautiful fisherwoman who won the heart of Emperor Ashoka.

I would prefer that story as compared to the mushy cliched romance the CVs want to show.

And a love track is not what the show requires now.The audience wishes to see politics, dramatic intrigue and the ruthless Ashok.

@bold... true words... each and every queen had some contribution in his life... may it be political aspects, personal life or spiritual life of spreading Buddhism... CVs should go through the historical accounts and folktales... the story of the greatest emperor of India is surely so interesting if that was explained with proper information and entertainment quotient.

@bold... right... not going into comparison zone I would say that the movie has shown the passionate love story btwn ashvaki wonderfully even there was so many distortion. Kaurvaki was no doubt an important part in ashoka's life... along with devi she was also an important cause in ashoka's transformation in Buddhism...

Ash if u are planning to write Ashvaki Os then pls keep KVK as fisherwoman there..😆

What the CVs don't realise that historical characters are not like Laila-Majnu,Heer-Ranjha etc.For these historical characters their love life was not everything. They need to realise that historical characters are not eternal lovers.
In Ashoka's case, his personality was shaped by his early life in PP,Bindusar's favouritism towards Sushim and the violent atmosphere which transformed him into a ruthless, cold blooded and violent man.

Ashok was an astute politician too.He was not impulsive as shown on-screen but extremely cunning and calculative. He had a plan to counter Sushim's every move.

Devi,Karuvaki and Asandhimitra entered his life in different phases and he loved them too.It was not like he had one, true eternal love. And if he did,we can only guess whom he loved the most.

His wives were a part of his life.He did not devote his life to any one of them.
