Beautiful and talented actress, Saumya Seth, who shot to popularity with Navya, has been away from the small screen since quite some time now. However, the actress, we hear, has bagged the lead role in mythological saga, 'Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat'.
Sources close to the show inform that after auditioning almost all the popular faces of the industry, the production house and the channel finally shortlisted Saumya to play Kaurwaki. She will be paired opposite Mohit Raina on Ashoka. Saumya will soon begin shooting for the show. Apart from Saumya, actors Abhiram Nain and Kajol Srivastava have also been finalized for Ashoka. While Abhiram will play Ashoka's youngest brother Siamak, Kajal ,on the other hand will essay Devi, Ashoka's wife.
