Does Contiloe, the copycat, lacks brain? Lacks creativity?

Dhrupad's episode was a ditto copy of Prachi the cute little girl in Jhansi Ki Rani.

Her bday was a surprise and she was the queen of the day and later that day she had to die as a missed target of the heroine.

Are the Contiloe shows nothing but an assembly of episodes from various shows including their own? I am sure even the Prachi's death in JKR would be a copy from another show.

I think Telly Awards should have "Best copycat "Award" and it would go to Contiloe.

Right from the opening scene of Ashok - read as Prince of Persia's intro scene, to liberal bold copying from GOT, Harry Potter, MRP, Shivaji, PRC and what not... There is no end to the list of copying. CAS is nothing but a good mixture of all these varied shows.

Sick CVs, shame on you!

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, Kaana. Not only did they kill off a sympathetic character unnecessarily, they couldn't even come up with an original idea for doing so.We should really start a new thread linking each instance of copying with the source.

The lack of creativity of the CVs can be blamed on the fact that these shows run for 365 days a year barring the weekends. They can be compared to a hamster on a wheel, constantly on the run to come up with new plots. If they could come up with seasons and a finite no: of episodes for a season, this lack of original ideas would be solved to an extent.

Yes, you said it! Seasons is the way to go.
Naagin show is doing well. despite the fact it is Ekta's it is fast paced mostly and sensible storyline, and originality. All because as you rightly said finite episodes. Now with its popularity they are planning season 2 and I can bet that its going to be a big mess and a dragfest.. Because the original story did not have this plan. Now they are going to stretch the original story to meet the season 2 need.
Any story however creative could only be narrated in a limited way. If its not so its a clear case of dragfest.

Best way to run any show is to have philosophy 'all good things must come to an end'

I would prefer it above all things if they would take a break of at least 2 months before bringing Mohit as the grown-up Ashok. In the meantime to pique the audience's curiosity(and get new viewers) show a mini-episode once in a week or so. Or better still make it a webisode. For eg grown up Sushim and Siamek plotting.Or Rani Dharma solving a small mystery.Or Bindusar reminiscing about his brother while Helena broods in prison.I loved the webisodes associated with the tv show Grimm which they introduced between the seasons.
