He will be seen playing Emperor Ashoka in the show Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat which will be taking leap of 12 yrs. Mohit who will start shooting for the show from March 20, will make an entry in April.
A source says that it was his mother who insisted that he take up the show."She loves the historical & when Mohit got the offer she was the one who persuaded him to do it."
Meanwhile, Ashoka's brother & the antagonist, will be played by Ankit Arora who was recently seen in Razia Sultan.

Guyzzz the article came in today's DNA paper...thought to share with u all😊

If it's Mohit Raina then it's thumbs up from my side. A very good choice indeed.
I've followed DKDM since the beginning and he was amazing in that show. I'm sure he'll rock in Ashoka too.

Well done team CAS for this fine choice.

I love Sid more than anyone. So want the leap to be postponed as much as it can. But since the elder Ashoka is found, it means that leap will take place very soon 😭

Anyways Mohit is good actor and I hope he does justice to the role.

As far as Ankit arora is concerned, I think he even looks like sumedh and I think even he will do justice to sushim's character
