Keechak is trying all possible tactics to put down the rebels under Ashok. His minister has hoarded all the food supplies in his house. Nayak is placed for guard duty with his soldiers because they suspect an attack from Ashok.
At the other end, the food godown in the university is burnt down by someone. Ashok and his friends come to the minister's house hidden in drums and musical instruments. I was proud of the courage shown by the dancing girl who knows fully well that she may lose her life if she is caught but is ready to do it for the sake of her country.
There in a short bit in between where we find differences surfacing between Ashok's men on the basis of caste. That is now hushed down the present moment by more pressing problems but the issue remains for later as it is still unresolved.
Karuwaki is forced to help Keechak to save her father but the bit I liked was her reminiscing some happier times with Ashok and capping it all an "I'm sorry Ashok. I'm doing whatever I am because I have no choice. I too can have my priorities just like you.
