Imagine a class room where teacher tells students for today's assignment write on life of Samrat Ashok. All students do that based on their abilities and teacher grades them. Then selects the worst written barely passing marks story and says we are going to create a drama from it. This is what Contiloe seems to have done.
They cast fabulous actors, good sets, good costumes (ok baring Ashok & Dharma but that is another story!) and then went ahead and gave the responsibility to write to the most sadistic negative inconsistent writers they could find. They go and turn all good characters foolish and ineffective!
Does Colors care about its serials anymore? Isn't this the channel that started with concern about the girl child? Balika Vadhu - Na Aana is Des Ladoo - what are they showing now? Ichhadhari Nagins, Black Magic, Voodoo, chetuk, Mantravidya. I guess as long as TRPs come rest all can go to 🤬 So they proudly show promos of slithering snakes & women turning into witches or whatever. 🤢🤢🤢
Have CAS writers who wrote Prabhari Samrat track actually watched CAS from the start? Did they have idea about how Ashok character was shaped at the start? The spunky sharp intelligent astute brave naughty Samrat Vanraj.
What made them change Ashok into a totally gullible do gooder foolish young man? Maybe inability to write track without turning Ashok foolish? 😡🤢🤢
They killed off Chanakya and destroyed the soul of CAS. Ashok-Chanakya scenes were the BEST part of CAS. What viewers eagerly waited for in every episode. Why viewers suffered thru the torture of Prabhari Samrat track - thinking no wait Chanakya will come back and set things right. Sushim will be punished. What viewers got instead was Ashok almost die by hanging while a Sushim got away with barely audible hostile forced sorry to Ahankara. 😡
I do not buy Manoj Joshi was unprofessional planted stories at all. Actors are the most helpless lot in this industry. The big PHs and big channels, who will go against them to correct if they want to work here? A person who has spent decades in this industry in theater and survive well - does not do that by being unprofessional.
The CVs did nothing to develop Radhagupta's character before Chanakya was killed off. That is indicating to sudden ending of Chanakya not a planned exit.
This is a torture fest such mind numbing horrible negativity where they have a 12 year old so far decent child murder an old man for no plausible reason. Where a Khal gets more lines to say in one episode than an Akramak gets to say in entire month! Why would he want to continue in CAS!
Seeing Khal and Charu faces makes me want to puke nowadays. Viewers KNOW that no punishment will be given to murders of Chanakya, nor will Ashok RG or Bindusaar get an inkling who committed the murder.
The CVs here think draping actors in royal costumes & loads of jewelry means royalty then they get a free reign to write plots around vamps & villains and turn Ashok into bahu of sbs by constantly show him tortured physically and mentally.
There are only 2 positive characters left in CAS - Ashok and Radhagupta.
For a single sensational episode the CVs here think nothing about butchering a character developed over months. So when a Bindusaar gets Ashok almost hanged to death BEFORE EVEN SUSHIM HAS DIED - he turns forever pathetic father and worthy of viewers disgust.
Dharma is the most pathetic character of CAS, how can Pallavi BEAR TO SEE HERSELF in that pathetic costume? She is a stylish elegant well dressed person - and her character does not demand a frumpy costume - ok make that 2 costumes - which are a cross between nine yard sari and sari tucked into waistband when women are doing housework! She was in one costume for almost 3 weeks, we should not even think about hygiene! 🤢🤢🤢
Say Dharma and she has to cry beg shake and faint! 😡🤢
Vamps & Villains get costumes by the dozens but Ashok has one royal pathetic idiotic caped costume and Dharma has two!
Even leaving all that aside, they are not even telling a good story - there is NO Rajkumar Ashok here, only overdose of Charu Khal Sushim 🤢🤢
Killed off Chanakya making him fall into a trap that he would not have fallen for in a million years 😡 I can't put into words the contempt I feel for the writers who have destroyed CAS with their negativity sadism and their limited abilities. 😡
They killed off Chanakya - now next torture track viewers KNOW nobody is coming to right the ugliness there won't be any exposure of vamps or villains - punishment! What a joke - vamps and villains flourish here - the leads are there only so that vamps can torture someone and gloat.
This is not about Samrat Ashok - this is about sbs bahu tortured by the evil everybody and unending negativity and sadism.
I used to watch CAS with such interest for story of Samrat Ashok - now I sincerely wish CAS closes down due to lack of TRPs.
Sid deserves better, he has got all he could out of Ashoka character - now he is developing set mannerisms and seems bored half the time. Who can blame the poor guy when all he has to do is cry or get tortured?!
The only people here who deserve a big kudos are the actors - they are the ONLY reason viewers are still watching CAS - I should say were watching cos TRPs need to be seen after Chanakya exit.
