I want KVB only as Ashoka..!! I can already imagine him riding horse and making dhamkedar entry..!! If Kajal is applied then he will resemble SRK Ashoka from same movie...!!

KVB has done aweosme shows with varied graphs in character...!!! He will Rock as ruthless warrior Ashoka...!!

Absolutely no doubt in my mind he is the best choice for this role! I have seen him in action in a few shows and in different genres and he has justified ALL of them. No matter what the role he makes it unforgettable and iconic. Be it Prem / Yudi in KZK, Dhurv is Shararat, Viraj in SB, or Aahil in QH. He always made the character unforttegable!

So on that score, to carry on the legacy of a character already made unforgettable by Siddhart Nigam, no one better than KV to do it! I really hope the makers consider finalising him for this role coz he will make grown up Ashoka unforgettable too and a pleasure to watch. His dialogue delivery is always spot on, and so is his emoting. He can do arrogant, violent, romantic, passionate or destructive. You name it, he has shown all those shades in his roles. We know Ashoka is all those things and who better than KVB to bring that forth?

Most characters he plays have gone on a journey, just like Ashoka will from Chanda Ashok to Dharma Ashok. In his last show Aahil went from a destructive player with a Mother complex, to a devoted husband and lover who stayed true to one women to the end. He transitioned from one character to another in the course of the time he played the role. It was very convincing that you never thought "I don't buy this". THAT is why I say, he is an excellent choice for Ashoka!

agree to most comments kvb is perfect for the role as elder ashoka will be a complex character grey to dark as channd ashoka than a mahatma ashoka

kvb is a versatile actor can play ashoka perfectly with muscular lean body

i love siddharth nigam the kid as junior ashoka he is amazing i think ashoka will take leap next year for any actor its not easy to match aura created by sn

I too think he resembles SRK.I honestly prefer kvb as ashoka rather than srk.
I do not know who took decision to have kvb perform with sn at the award function (PH of CAS or award officials) but i do hope kvb is the elder ashoka in the show after the leap.

Totally agree Aman. (We meet again). SN has done an amazing job and he is so good, that matching him will be tough. It was tough for Gautam on Mahakumbh and it will be tough for anyone that follows Sid in Ashoka. THAT is precisely why the PH and channel should cast a strong actor with serious chops to play this role. I can't think of anyone who can fit the role, the look and the swagger that Ashoka has better than KV. I noticed that SN has serious swagger in this role. Like he has an irreverent and almost cheeky and sarcastic side. KV will excel in this coz he is like that even in real life. Just seriously hope the PH don't make a wrong choice no matter who they choose,but personally I think they just can't go wrong with KV!

yes , kvb is a versatile actor . His expressions , dialogue delivery let him play every character brilliantly. He justifies every role he gets. So ya he can be elder Ashok .

Ever since i saw pictures of his performance at ita award, i think that it cannot just stop there. He should be in the show too. He dances at the award function and then someone else bags the role in the show!! No absolutely no. He has the full package of excellent acting skills, looks, fitness, so why not.

Karanvir Bohra's name is appearing in CAS wiki as elder ashoka. I do not know if wiki is 100% reliable but i would be very happy if kvb is ashoka
