Let's talk about all the possible proofs that Ashok can collect to prove Dharma innocent and punish Mir Khorasan.
1. Testimony by the Bhatt: he can give witness and prove to the world that Dharma and Shubhadrangi are one and the same. This is required because everyone thinks Ashok's mother was Subhadrangi who is assumed to be dead. So several fingers will be pointed to Ashok asking him as to why he lied about his mother's death? No one might believe him. He can be punished for lying about his identity. It's a must to prove that Bindusar married Shubhadrangi who another name is Dharma.
2. Airavat can testify against Mir: Airavat X-soldier in Mir's Army can testify by recalling those set of events where Mir tried to kill Dharma. This can turn the tide against Mir.
3. Proofs given by CGM the Lion: The other day CGM the lion pointed Ashok to a box containing a dagger and necklace. This is defo a proof. Ashok can show this to further prove his point that he's indeed Dharma's son.
4. Ahankara's testimony: Ahankara needs to declare that she loves Ashok and NOT sushim. And if she gets to know about Niharika's evil plans she can reveal those as well. This will expose Niharika and her attempts to forcibly marry Ahankara and Sushim. This can expose Charu too!
5. Dharma should speak up: for god's sake Dharma really needs to defend herself. I want to see her talk stuff apart from "Shanti Ahimsa" or worrying about Ashok. She really needs to tell everything that happened to her right from Mir's attempts to kill her to ill-treatment by other queens. This is unlikely but at least she can expose Mir for sure.
May be someone from her village can testify this account including the Bhatt.
6. Now coming to the proofs against Dharma abt her involvement against Lakshagriha.
a) hiding in palace - obviously this was bcoz of ashok.
b) meeting Justin
c) killing subrashi's Dasi
d) Theft of jewels
e) Bindusar's ring
These are mere accusations. As such Mir/Helena/Niharika have got no proofs against Dharma.
But the main point here is how does Niharika KNOW SO MUCH abt Dharma when no one in the palace ever knew abt her existence. Even Samrat himself was unsure as to whether she's alive.
This raises the question as to how Niharika was aware of all this?
7. Chankaya- This is the MOST important link between everything. If he reveals all the parts such as bringing Dharma to Pataliputra, she saving Samrat's life thrice as a doctor(vaidya), about Ashok's journey from a mischievous boy to a horse keeper to a student at rajakiya vidyalaya to a "mahaan yodhaa" to finally a Samrat's angarakshak should be carefully explained.
