Why does Ashok have to emerge unbelievably victorious in EVERY turn? Yes, he was a very capable king, but why not develop plots that bring out the best in him. Why show him win by luck or incredible smarts?

And the 'Maa kehthi thi' has now become so redundant.

What has happened to his education at Rajkiya Vidyalay? Over with the competition ? If he has quit and taken up the bodyguard duty, what was the reason for so much drama during his entry?

How is Aakramak unaware of Rajajiraj's appearance? And what did Chanakya mean by appointing such a person to search for a culprit, who has never seen him or cannot identify him.

Aakramak falling for the tall story is atrocious. Only Ashoka's dimaag ki batti burns. Others ki fuse nikal gayi.😲

When did Ashoka learn sword fighting that he can confront the Emperor with equal skills?

Chanakya is now becoming Ashoka's cheerleader rather than a guru and guide.

They are making Ashoka a never-wrong super kid who is so mahaan. What is it with historicals that mandatory mahaanta is forced on one character! The typical Balaji telefilms heroine syndrome .

I see where you are going with this, but since he is the main character, they want to make sure that the audience sees the traits that made him a successful person and not just the ruthless king who slaughters and then repents and turns to Buddhism. In order to establish that, they have resorted to the means that any show on TV nowadays does- Exaggeration.

No complaints with the highlighting of his positive traits. But why not develop a credible story line and absorbing plots and make him shine. Even exaggeration is acceptable but not such pothole plots that reduces the charecterisation to a farce.

Yea. Honestly, its kinda weird to see that noone apart from Ashoka and Chanakya can see things obvious to anyone. Heck, I would even accept Sushim having doubts on Justin and Helena and trying to one up Ashok, and then Ashok emerges triumphant. Even after Ashok told Sushim about his doubts on the palace, he did nothing about it. When the fire was out, the King was least interested in what happens to his children rather than just his Queens. He dint bother to ask where Noor, Sushim and Shiamak disappeared. Even the fact that Acramak does not know how the King looks is real stupid when he has seen him quite a lot of times. 😕
