Well I had( and I still have) a bone to pick with Contiloe for their complete lack at creating a closer picture of history! Although a lot hasn't changed but yeah...they slowly seem to be stifling through a positive track.

Well first things first...I am so glad and relieved that the Imperial palace of Magadha looks form the Mauryan age. The Mauryan architecture made heavy usage of bricks, stones and wood and the predominant structure used to be the dome. Glad that the earlier set turned out to be of Ujjain!

Secondly, a remarkable improvement in language, while the Urdu derivative Hindi is maddening as hell; at least a genuine effort at putting use of correct diction and Hindi usage.

Asoka's training, well that had begun by 14 and when he was 15 he crushed the revolt of Ujjain. Seemingly that aspect isn't still taken away.

But the precap left a bad taste in mouth. Firstly Bindusara always knew who Asoka was and secondly Asoka hated his father vehemently! Why is it one step forward and five steps backward with you Contiloe??

LOL I guess those who are not aware of the story are enjoying it.
Those who know the real history it must be painful to watch the NRs. Such a dreaded word & weapon in the hands of CVs! 😆

I completely agree with you! I just loved today's episode. The grandeur, sets and Siddharths acting. The scene today where he was pretending to be Samrat was phrnomenal. I love the background music too! But I just wished they made it logical. Why are there unnecessary distortions God knows. Anyways, let's hope for the best

Everytime I watch distortions; I am reminded of a certain-woman-who-must-not-be-named! Thank God, Asoka was monogamous for 18 years! So no scope of "bachapan ki dosti" here!😆

Even today's episode was a bonus! sushim's bedroom...well it looked straight of Mauryan palace. One credit has to be given to Contiloe no matter the pile of distortions they put up, they always provide us with a spectacular visual treat! Yeah hoping for the best!
