actually i believe strongly Chanakya is alive because the spies were called in a meeting and surely they were asked to hide the fact that he is alive

secondly in history nowhere its there that Chanakya was murdered and in this show too its not making any sense

its surely Chanakya's another neeti

I think the same as well. Maybe he is trying to capture the assassin. So he spread the false news so that he will walk freely and his spies will capture him. But about being murdered i think i read somewhere that one of the courtman's burned him alive when he was fasting onto death. I don't know to what extent it is true. So could be a theory also. Just saying.

Chanakya died in 283 B.C., a year after Asoka's son Mahendra had been born! So rest assure this master planner is all up and running!

I believe so too because I researched that when they were showing it yesterday and I saw that Chanakya didn't die until much later. This may be another move to get Ashoka to realize that he can be the next Samrat and to bring Dharma and Bindusra together again.

see even if what you read is true it happened when already Chanakya determined to give uplife by starving unto death so it makes little difference then even if he is murdered but here he is active and not giving up life so he can't be murdered now

According to many books and texts, Chanakya was alive when Ashoka became the king. There is not even a minute possibility that Chanakya will die as of now.
