elevision is going totally filmi and here is the filmi first look of Colors new show Dil Se Dil Tak' that will replace Bigg Boss 10 next month. Starring Rashami Desai, Sidharth Shukla and Jasmine Bhasin the first look is shot on the hit track from Saathiya, Aye Udi Udi...Check the first look pics of the show. Dil Se Dil Tak deals with the topic of surrogate motherhood. The first look shows husband, wife and the surrogate mother in a romantic mood. It is loosely based on the 2001 starrer Chori Chori Chupke Chupke starring Salman Khan, Rani Mukherjee and Preity Zinta. The show has a close resemblance to the film. The promo shows all the three leads in white grooving on Udi Udi.

Set in Mumbai, Rashami and Sidharth play a Bengali husband and wife on the show. They are happily married and are in love with each other. But fate changes their lives when Rashami's character has a miscarriage and is unable to conceive. That makes the couple resort to a surrogate mother. Sidharth's chance encounter with a Gujarati girl Thaani played by Jasmine gets them that surrogate mother.

The equation of the husband and wife changes as soon as the surrogate mother enters their lives. The whole pregnancy process and during that time the surrogate mother falls in love with Sidharth Shukla.The complications thereafter will form the drama of the show. Rashami was last seen on & TV's Hamari Adhuri Kahaani where she played a chudail. Post his debut in Bollywood with Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, Sidharth Shukla also makes a comeback to television.

Jasmine Bhasin who made her debut with Zee TV's Tashan E Ishq as Twinkle will be seen in a completely different avatar. In real life, Jasmine is a hard core Punjabi and now she is playing a Gujarati girl. She has worked hard to get the accent right. The shoot of the show has already begun in Mumbai. Rashami and Jasmine have already bonded nicely offscreen as friends. The show is produced by Shashi and Sumeet Mittal who have the superhit Diya Aur Baati Hum under their belt...

This article mentions Jasmin's character's name as Thaani.. And I feel it sounds more logical because Teni didn't look like name of a Gujju girl from a small village 😕
