SRS was introduced in the show to play a second fiddle to the main female protagonist. The CVs were taken by surprise that this character received astounding victory, since viewers accepted him with open arms. The CVs wants to give a message that they never deviated from the issue, hence they attach enormous importance to the female characters, whether it is Shiv or Jagya they will be sidelined. Let us not pin our hope that SRS character will be empowered by the CVs.
Balika Vadhu is a story of Anandi, we love her so let us be happy with a little dose of SRS.

I simply hope to see some good, sensible professional tracks in BV,

I know this is a story about the female protagonist, but since as yourself uttered, Shiv turned out to be more liked and impressive than any other. If he turns fruitful than the current female lead, why not use his charm and much better acting skills to uplift the drowning trps and viewership. I am very much sure people would love to see the lovely fiddle( lovely KKCS) get into action, than the main lead carrying trays and shed fake, crocodile tears😉

Sid would do a wonderful job if given the chance and occasion as he has proved it many times...

Hope he gets his schedules and shoots planned so that he can continue in both the platforms of entertainment
