Riding high on the success of his recently released film, Aashiqui 2, its producer Mahesh Bhatt has reportedly mentioned that he may come up with many more installments of the Aashiqui franchise. Bhatt had lately been spotted at the success party thrown for Aashiqui 2 and that is where he made this declaration. "Love stories don't have an ending... they continue to go ahead. So we can have Aashiqui 3 and 4 and even more. There is no full stop to that", said Mahesh Bhatt.

Bhatt seems elated with the way Aashiqui 2 has been received by the audience. He believes that if the story is good the audience would accept the film no matter whichever certificate it carries. "The film has achieved tremendous success and we are happy about it. This shows films with 'A and U' certificate can do well provided the story is good", he added.

Aashiqui released in 1990 became a blockbuster hit. Everything from its songs, the portrayal of characters as well as the plot was loved by the audience. Rahul Roy and Anu Aggarwal who featured in the movie became overnight stars and the Bhatt camp earned immense accolades for their wonderful piece of work.

Interestingly, Aashiqui 2 is also receiving as much recognition. Newbies, Aditya Roy Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor who form the film's lead pair are being appreciated for their performances in the movie and just as the original Aashiqui, the mesmerizing music of this film is also being loved. "I thank everyone (makers) for having faith and trust in me and Shraddha. It (the film) is a life-changing experience for me", said the film's male lead Aditya Roy Kapoor.
