Movie name:
Table No. 21 (A)
Cast:
Rajeev Khandelwal, Teena Desae, Paresh Rawal, Dhruv Ganesh, Hanif Hilal
For me, Rajeev Khandelwal is like a warm, luminous ray of sunshine. And in this weather, in Delhi, he is most welcome. Table No. 21, the film through which this ray is beamed at us, may not be bad, but it isn't good either.
Rajeev Khandelwal is, as always, beauteous and in touch with all 52 muscles of his face and knows which one to engage when. He starts off weak, but as the film progresses, he gets better. Single-note characters don't suit Khandelwal. The more battered he gets, the more complicated the plot gets, the more exciting he gets.
