It would be out by September siya > Hiii, who is your inspiration? amit > Hi dear in terms of acting I do look upto Amitji... I have grown up watching him.. Aamir khan, Balraj Sahani ji etc... I like watching them. In Music there are lots from Mohd. Rafi to Sukhwinder Singh, KK, Gurdass Mann... love hearing his voice . pawan > Hi Amit are u planning to do any bollywood movie?? amit > Hi Pawan ... I think I have underperformed in all the shows I have done... after Jo jeeta wohi superstar I have a new guru ( Mohd Taheer ) he is a very very good Guruji ... i wish i hade met him earlier so that people wud have taken me seriously ... What made you choose a career in serials? amit > Hi I don't think to choose your destiny in this industry ... I always wanted to showcase my talent .. I did what came to my way ... it was not a deliberate effort... But I am thankful to God that it happened to me .I have learned a lot. sachin > HI Amit of all the roles that u have done which one you can relate to the most?? amit > Hi dear, I think in some ways I put a little bit of myself in all the roles I do ...I am currently enjoy the Role of Abhimaniyu... shruti > On the sets of DMG with whom you are most comfortable with? amit > Karan , shruti, sunaina .. Now being in India, do you feel as if you belong in India or feel like a foreigner Are you similar to your on screen character "Prithvi" i.e. shy and down-to-earth? If you loved someone, would you confess it on her face or write it through a letter, as you did in Kaisa Yeh Pyaar Hai (KYPH)? Amit Tandon > ABCD stands for American Born Confused Desi (native). And although I am American born, I am not confused. At first, when I came to India, as I knew no one here - no family, no friends - I felt out-of-place. But soon after (as)I started to adjust to Indian life, things became easier for me. And now I feel India is my home. Yes, I am down-to-earth but don't think I am as shy as "Prithvi" is. I do believe in love the way "Prithvi" does. Yes, I would tell them (when I fall in love). Laughlivelove > You are such a hottie Amit!! Do you have a girl friend? Amit Tandon > It's very different from the States. But the culture in India is rich and the people are very loving. Being in front of the camera and entertaining people (is what I like the most about acting). Laughlivelove > Have you performed in any other country, besides India? Did you take part in singing competitions back in the US too? Will you be going to any other country to perform? If offered for a show, will you come to the Maldives to sing for us (too) because I think you have an awesome voice! I just melt listening to you. Amit Tandon > Yes, I have performed in the US but I did some theatre (in the US). No, I didn't take part in singing, back in the US. Thank you. One is that acting is the art of lying and the other is always be truthful while acting. Which theory do you agree by and why? Amit Tandon > I think "be truthful" because most of the time when you lie it, shows on your face. Indian_idol2005 > Hi Amit, I am Sameer. I am very impressed with your personality. I always want to you to be our 'Indian Idol' because among all the contestants, you were the one with the X-factor. You were VJ, singer and now an actor too. Out of the three, which one did you enjoy the most and (were) serious for it? Amit Tandon > Thank you I am very serious about acting and singing and will pursue both in the future as well. Bhena > Hi, how did you feel when you couldn't make it to the Indian finals? Amit Tandon > I felt bad but at the same time I held hope that something better would come along. Grishma > Any Bollywood offer that you have received? Amit Tandon > Not yet. I am totally concentrating on Kaisa Yeh Pyar Hai. Selina > Does your family live in India? Amit Tandon > No, everyone lives in America. I miss them. Jsdaf > Where are you from? Please do tell us something about your family, education etc. And how come being educated in the US you don't have a problem speaking Hindi? Amit Tandon > I am from New York. My family has been living in the US for the past 25 years and we have businesses in US I am a college graduate who was going to pursue a career in Law but came to India and now I am here. I watch a lot of Hindi films so I learnt that way. Indian_idol2005 > Were you a singer by birth or it just came to you just before Indian Idol. Are you also taking training in classical music? Amit Tandon > I have never taken training in classical music but will as time goes on. Just came into me before Indian Idol. Ultra-mod > Are you going to follow music and acting, as a career? Will you sing for your own films when you become a film actor? Amit Tandon > Yes, I am going to follow both, music and acting as a career. Hopefully, when the opportunity comes, I will (sing play back for my own film). Loveualways > Hi Amit, you have an awesome voice. I am writing from the USA. Just wanted to know when your birthday is and what's your idea of a romantic date? Amit Tandon > Birth day -11 th of April. Romantic date - Just me and the girl I love, the location doesn't matter. Amit Tandon > I am an entertainer and in every profession you have to deal with the ups and the downs and have to do the job you are supposed to do, and let the rest work out. Loveualways > How did you feel when you got the role for "Prithvi" and would you like to play "Angad?" Amit Tandon > I was very happy when I got the role of "Prithvi." Although I can play the role of "Angad" I am happy that Iqbal is doing the role (Angad) and I am "Prithvi." It works better for the show. Misty_25 > With KYPH being an intense love story, what are your views on love and friendship? Amit Tandon > I believe that love is something that has to be felt from both sides but along with love, respect for each other and to appreciate each one's individuality is very important.
