Geet -Hui Sabse Paryee follows the life of Geet Handa, an 18 year old Punjabi girl, who is bought up to live according to the will of others. She is very much repressed especially by the her Darji and brother Brij. Eventually she is forced into marrying an NRI, who abandons her after one day of marriage. Soon Geet realises that she is pregnant but her family try to push her into aborting the child. Geet however stands up for her rights, and leaves her family behind. In Delhi, Geet starts to work for Maan Singh Khurana, who always happens to help Geet in her hour of need.

Drashti Dhami was born on the 10th of January 1985. She made her debut in a music video 'Saiya dil me aana re'. Later she played the role of Dr Muskaan Chadda in Dill Mill Gayye and made a huge number of fans. She has also previously been in a few ads and music videos.
