@thinker_belle ... :) U put ur thots v beautifully. I agree that for a happy n satisfied marriage, love is indeed essential. Unfortunately, nowadays, its v easy to b unhappy n dissatisfied in one's marriage...clashes of thots n egos almost leads one to believe the love is dead or what existed was infatuation. In other words, it has become so easy to fall in and out of love! Divorce rates are high bcoz of this precise reason. However, there still exists a small section of ppl who accept the lack of love in their marriage, n still for the sake of kids, financial reasons, parental pressure, mutual benefit or whatever reason continue adjusting to one another. As long as there is no abuse involved, these marriages do work! Call it business partnership or whatever...2 ppl can get habituated to one another n lead a happy life by just coexisting harmoniously. Guess..the maturity n priorities of ppl involved matters here. Anyways...to cut the long story short...I too almost agree with u n really loved reading ur post!
@ramp...hahaha...if u meant me in ur comment above...heaven save the traditions! I'd convince all my clients to hav a yr long courtship period followed by 2 months of live- in ...n if they still wanted to go ahead...only then marry! It wud at least stop fools maki ng fun of love n marriage n take both of them seriously!
Btw...how come no one is considering the fact that they mite b referring to Polomi as the bahu in question...after all...krish has taken her signature on one legal doc already...:P kidding...Bt the story sure is intriguing!
