shobs if she didnt impart the same values in her daughters why does she expect poloumi to have them... and i like her but i think we will get more of her reasons for her behavior towards poloumi at some point

talking abt the mothers interacting, its going to be a mismatch for both poloumi's mother and rajnibala's mother with yashoda... all three are different, the only similarity between rajnibala's mom and yashoda shown on friday was that they were going for the same pooja but she seemed a little silly otherwise... sort of like poloumi... dont know why but her manner of speaking reminded me of poloumi

I agree, it would. 😔 Which is why I hope he takes this entire month to break it off... utleast convince us that he didnt want to cause intentional heartache to Poulomi when he fell in love with Rajjo.

I also agree to the point that YashoBen's dislike of Poulomi as a bahu seems unreasonable, especially when her own daughters are pretty modern. The only reason I can think of for her dislike is because Poulomi is a bit like herself... trying to please everyone, and successfully so. All, including the maid seem to like Poulomi. Didn't somebody say opposites attract and likes repel 😉

Well, my thought is that Yashoda does not want Poulomi as DIL because she feels she would be like her daughter Surbhi and she does not approve of Surbhi going to work and not being there for her son!! She said as much to her hubby...she does not dislike Poulomi as such...she just doesn't want her as DIL, that is all!! She feels a DIL of the Vaishnav parivar should be like herself...should uphold all the family traditions, which she feels Poulomi would not be able to do...it is just her feeling...it is quite possible that with right guidance, Poulomi could become as good as Yashoda in managing the Vaishnav household! 😛 Also I think Poulomi does not belong to Vaishnav communitiy...🤔

Yes...I agree with Shobhaben that Yasho doesn't approve of Polomi's modern way of going about things...that was why Surbhi's kid wala episode was shown where he asked for divorce from his parents...Yasho doesn't want the same to happen with Krish...even in the precap she was impressed with Rajjo's caring nature...she wants a gharelu bahu not karobaari :)

And Polomi is a Chopra? ...dunno how close that is to Vaishnavs...actually there is a confusion with Polomi's surname coz when she meets her mum for the first time, the mum says Polomi something else? I didnt get it...or I mite be getting it totally mixed up...

@Babe - Poulomi isn't a Chopra! Krish was just teasing her coz of all that Aanken band karo wala talk..

Her name is something else.. a majumdaar or something. Her mom calls it out when she first meets her after her Italy trip..

Majumdar? That is a Bengali name...and so is Poulomi! Well if so, that would be another reason for Yashoben to disapprove of Followme as her bahu!

I don't remember her mother calling out that name...will look up that epi again and see...

No, she says Poulomi Mashruwala...which from what I looked up on Google chacha is a Gujarati name! 😆
