I think it is their son. queen sent him away so that she does not fail in her promise to her sister to bring siddharth as her own son

Then how was that son still a kid? He should have been the same age as Siddharth.

But if they had this other son, why was Sudhoyana concerned that he'd have no successor? After all, there was this son, and then, there was Siddhartha's son Rahul later on to provide succession.

Next week - Siddhartha discovers that Devadatta murdered Kanchan, and attacks him.

The thing that gets me - how does Devadatta go unpunished throughout the story, and only at the end does he die b4 he can reach Buddha?

Was Siddharth an atheist at this stage the way they are depicting? Like today, he asked whether kulguru ever met Rahu or Shani or Mangal? 😆 I'd expect that from Buddha, but Siddharth?

its their depiction surely , actually before Mabhiniskraman (abandoning the home) there is not much information about how he was as prince

actually i am liking the depiction , their interpretation and fiction are much better than other mythological and historical serial they alleat follow logic and add fiction in hazy part of history don't downright change fact
