Calling the book 'sad' would be underrating how it actually feels reading through the pages, bearing every tortures the central characters go through. I am an avid reader, and I have read a wide range of books, but never did a book touch me as much before. I was severely depressed for about a week, and at one point, I did think of putting the book down (at least for the time being), because it was seriously effecting me. I urged myself to finish it, and at the end, I did - and now I'm glad with my choice. The book can be sad and depressing, but it's also very enlightening and eye-opening. It will broaden your eyes, and show you the world from a different perspective. It could be a heart-wrenching read, but it is worth it.

One of the most provocative and influential work of the last decade. It's a classic, and is going to stand against the test of time. Only one word can describe this work of art - a masterpiece.
I will recommend anyone to have a go - but make sure to be prepared for all the gory stuffs you are about to read.
