Sorry to hear that. I hope things are better now.

LoTR is one of those rare occasions where I’ve loved the movie more than the books. The original trilogy was perfection - no notes! Peter Jackson peaked with that. The Hobbit series came nowhere close.

yup… I completely agree with that!

The cast was perfect… I can’t imagine anyone even thinking about remaking it..

They’d better not!

Did you watch Rings of power on Amazon? S1 was boring but S2 was not bad - the guy who plays Sauron is especially good.

It doesn’t ruin much - because most of the characters from LotR aren’t in it.

Of course it’s not comparable to the movies but still - it’s not as bad as I first thought if you’re into Tolkien’s world and the set up
