I have read plenty of books with Disabled MCs but doing a focused read this month was great! I too am looking to read more with this theme.

Now onto September. Any suggestions for a theme? Else it will just be a regular RC smiley36

September is associated with a number of things like Sports, World Literacy Day, Teacher's Day, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) Awareness Month, as well as various other health awareness campaigns, including World Physiotherapy Day, World Suicide Prevention Day, and World Alzheimer's Day.

Maybe something related to healthcare ?

You can have your pick, whichever looks viable smiley36

Themed around early autumn vibes, paranormal/fantasy (since Goodreads is kinda pushing Romantasy), adapted into TV/Movie (smiley15), or put everyone into chaos by challenging them to read 1 book (set page limit here) recommended by someone else (secret Santa but not so secret Santa).

Please keep it regular. It's better that way when we are free to read what we like without any pressure.smiley36

Idk I think themed reads are nice. I’m reading books I maybe normally wouldn’t and that’s a good thing otherwise we all get stuck in a comfort zone and that can get boring too. And anyways there’s no pressure - you can either choose to read them or not smiley9 they aren’t mandatory smiley9

But yeah maybe a break will be nice too
