I am a bit confused and hazed about the books you all told me but yes, I have found many of them pretty mindblowing and I hope am not disappointed with others. Thank you for all your suggestions and keep this thread alive for I am sure the books you suggested me so far will not last more than a week or two.
I am a reader. :)

Yes, sure, I'll try it pretty soon. I've created this list of books that I need to read. (all from the wonderful folks here in this forum).

Whose point of view is it in? I mean, in the girl's diary, right? Because I just assumed for the stereotype that 'guys' cannot write diaries. Just like they cannot wear pink, or cry. 😆

It's actually from a girl's point of view. So it may have started kind of stereotypical (not sure because i don't remember this since I read it couple a years ago), but it got into serious things later on. I think it's a pretty good read too.

I am not sure if it's a rumour or not, but someone did tell me that that book is a hate story and for those people who like happy ending love stories and not advised to read that.

Is that true?

Even I love stories with happy endings. This book has a lot of hate scenes because of the main character Heathcliff but it has a happy ending..hatred conquered by love.

I loved reading the old English classics and a couple of my favourite ones were
  1. Nicholas Nickleby
  2. Far from the Madding crowd
  3. Adam Bede
  4. Vanity Fair
  5. Great Expectations
  6. David Copperfield

There are more😳

I am sure it is, if you say so. I will read it, adding it to my 'to read' list. I've got a lot to read. I am not even sure I remember most of the books. I'll have to revise the thread yet again. Thank you so much for suggesting me Life As We Knew It. Do keep suggesting more. :)

If by Fawad you mean Fawad Afzal Khan, wonderful. 😆
And if you don't, my sincerest apologies.

I didn't realize it then but I am now.
Thank you. 😃

I need help girls. Sad books aren't making me cry anymore. I feel for the characters but I don't cry, the tears don't come out.
I cry like a baby when I read books with happy endings.

Really, who doesn't? Every normal, romantic teenager/in her twenties or so, loves romantic novels with happy endings. So I guess, rumour has it that it is a hate story. As long as it ends well, I will be looking forward to it. Thank you for suggesting me that book. Lovely choice. :)

I read Wuthering Heights and didn't regret my choice.
