I have never appreciated my life after reading a book, but this was one of those books that made me appreciate everything in life. I LOVED how he depicted the REALITY in that book. Nothing "idealistic" nothing "cool" - the reality!

I nothing less than LOVED this book!
It's beautiful in every way. The flow of the book, the realistic approach, the absolutely lovable couple, the painful losses and fear of loss, the raw humour, the literature, all have made the book so.amazingly beautiful.
Each character of this book leaves an everlasting impression in your mind. From Augustus Waters to Isaac's girlfriend, all are such real and unforgettable characters.

I was skeptical when I started this book.
Its going to be really hard for me to talk about it without spoiling it for people so I'll keep it concise.

When you start reading the book, you pretty much imagine the "obvious" end to it...but Mr. Green isnt having any of it. I couldn't put this book down. it had so many metaphors and such beautiful opinions of characters. It's written with a stroke of mastery wherein every reader will be able to find at least one character they can connect with.

This book made me smile and cry and cry-smile at the same time!! I was truly upset when I turned that last page and realized that this is the end.

Just like Hazel was hoping for her epilogue of AI, I find myself hoping that there was more...

I Very Strongly recommend this book to anyone who hasn't read it yet.

I agree!

Reality, put down in words both bluntly and sometimes in more subtle ways.

from Isaac's Girlfriend to Gus to Hazel, to even Patrick! Sometimes the action of a character or their thoughts had me going "I know someone who would say/do that"...that's hard to find in a book because authors have so much freedom when they write fiction that they don't always find it necessary to stick to reality.

John Green has done a brilliant job with it.

Let you read the whole book once, we'll give a talk.

John Green has that point down to the T. I work closely with cancer patients and contrary to what people may think, most Cancer patients are very cheerful and I have a LOT of patients who mock death and make jokes about it. I've had one patient say "When death is staring at you in the face, you can either tremble in fear, or point at it and laugh because either way, eventually, it's going to snatch you." I will never ever forget those words.

So the mocking of death in this book just reiterated her words to me and I can;t help but agree.

When I found out two days ago that The Fault is releasing in India on the 4th of next month I thought I'd wait. But I have been checking kickass torrents for a week now and I have finally found the movie. I read the comments on this torrent and it's watchable. So, well, I am going to watch now.
