Harry Potter!
Sidney Sheldon! (sorry, not appropriate for all ages)
Nicholas Sparks!
I don't know about the other two, but definitely The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch - I read it recently and it's just so amazing :)

George Orwell's Animal Farm & Nineteen Eighty-Four is a must. I don't have any specific suggestion for 3rd book. Perhaps The House of God 😆, recommended for medical neophytes like me.

Interesting picks! Though I can see a lot of discouragement for Harry Potter.. I would never understand why though.. I've heard in some public schools, Harry Potter was banned because of supposedly the way it promotes magic and sorcery and what not.. Ridiculous! HP has some of the best themes that can make for a great discussion!

That was my FIRST choice, Chhilt! What is it..do we have like a connection or can you read minds? 😛😆 It is one of my MOST favorite books. Every single time I read it, it fills me with hope and dreams. A guy who's dying talks about how to live. Hats off!
It was just imagination and a great one!! Big deal! Dunno why some people have a problem!Originally posted by: -Mystery-
^ I can totally imagine the look 😆
It's ridiculous how some people create unnecessary hype about HP... it's a simple book with awesome themes, yes set in a magical world, but so what?!
