Hey, okay im a fan of the series !!

a total mad fan.. im like in love with them and even though this may sound hypocritical i would say that i agree with your POV to an extent.. and the title is very well thought.

yet im too romantic a person and romeo and juliet remains a favourite of mine !!

Your a D/B FTW tooo, sweeet. They are my fave in the series, the fact that they are strong, independent, characters is the reason why I like these two, kicking butts side by side :D

D/B FTW! haha, and TVD conversation is welcome here, it was part of the rant as well, near the end. lol. :)

And thank you! Bonnie is like an amazing character, I hated how everyone fawned over Elena throughout the series. She's better than Bella, but Bonnie's my favourite character, undermined, stronger than she looks, and so caring, for everyone. Damon/Bonnie would be so entertaining to read, because they'd be challenging each other, mentally, physically and emotionally. Bonnie evokes feelings from Damon despite what he wants, Elena evoked feelings, in the beginning because she looked like Katherine.

And I shall stop before I rant.

^^ I actually think that Meredith's stronger than Bonnie.... she's been through a lot more and she can handle stressful situations without freaking out like Bonnie does :P I love Bonnie, don't get me wrong.... but I think Damon would be better off with Meredith.... mainly because Matt/Bonnie FTW :P LOL

Even i started liking Edward..but was'nt a fan girl for sure..n later he realized the character is sort of incomplete..how can a guy be so loving towards his girl, even in this day?..thats the only reason i like Jacob - he's realistic..

Bella to falls madly in love with him..n wants to give up life for him!..well Romeo-Juliet was a classic..but i like the way u compared the two..

i never liked the story of Romeo-Juliet..but the mere performances by the actors in the movie..thats because i never read the book..so i really dont know..if the movie was better or not..but all i know, i liked the movie..

n i like RP as an actor, but Edward, not really!

@ chhilt: Meredith's definitely a strong character, but sometimes I find her very condescending towards Bonnie. IDK, just a feeling I get when I'm reading them together. And I don't really like Matt/Bonnie, I keep seeing it as 'oh, he can't have Elena so he wants her best friend', and after watching the show, is it bad that I ship Matt/Caroline? lol. They're awesome together in the show. I'm all for Meredith/Alaric, and Damon/Bonnie! Matt can have some other hot chick that comes along. lol.

@ Aish: I liked Jacob throughout, he was entertaining to read, definitely more realistic than Edward, but I hated how she wrapped his story up. Pedophilia much? Though considering the age differences between all other love stories. Erm, yeah, no. haha. RP as an actor is awesome, he even plays Edward well (all stony-like and stuff), but Edward as a character is plain weak. I never saw RJ actually, I'd probably like the way it was made, but I just don't like the story. :)

Mer is stronger and been through more but like Radz said she is really condescending and that kind of pushed me off from shipping M/D and though i did love M/D and M/B parts I still ship D/B forever, even if LJS doesn't want them.

& Radz in the show I ship M/C the most (well after D/B) for some reason I'm just not into S/E as everyone else, i just like them them bcz E that garantees DB ending.& for the post ealier where you were talking specifically me, I toally agree with everything.

BTW if you really love D/B heres a spoiler i ran into about the last two books

++ AM: What is your favorite character to write?
LJS: The same as most: Damon. I love writing it! And he will go through tough times psychologically in the next two books. I'll tell you something that did not tell anyone: it will turn human! And do not know how to handle it. But of course he will return to being a vampirebefore the end. I will present a new character who will be responsible for turning Damon into a vampire again. But I think this change will make Damon and Bonnie come more closer. I receive many emails saying that people will kill if these two were not together while others ask for it to be with Elena. It will be interesting to see what people will think (laughs). They are involved both with the characters! ++

^^ Now that you two put it that way, I guess Meredith and Damon probably wouldn't work that well..... Damon and Bonnie are pretty appealing :) I'm cool with it as long as Matt gets someone :P Oh and I like Matt/Caroline in the show too :P
