Warner Bros who are distributing Chandni Chowk to China in India wanted to check if the film could be pitched as a Diwali blockbuster. All that was needed to convince them was one minute of the film with Deepika Padukone in full-on action queen avatar?the movie has her in a Seeta and Geeta double role?falling off a skyscraper with Akshay Kumar, hanging on to an umbrella.

In Bollywood, a new star is yearned for, but rarely born, every minute.

It is Deepika who is doing the acrobatic kick in the black overcoat.

I think she will be very cute as the chinese girl..she has a small pointed face,small mouth,big eyes (a la shridevi in Mr India)plus the dimples of course!

The film itself..fire works during Diwali...blockbuster stuff !!

Waiting for the"Piyatu ab tho aaja" and 'Bambai se aya mera dost' teasers!😜

I just watched the news(Headlines Toda).At the CCTC event,there was a stampede.Deepika's guards and some hundred photographers were hitting each other with cameras in one hand!Deepika had to go and come back again!She answered some questions and then the crowd calmed down!
Nikhil Advani said that the big problem they faced was to make Deepika's huge eyes look small!

both akshay & deepika looks kinda crazy in these pics. the chinese look doesn't suit deepika. she looks rather awkward in the cheongsams & hairstyles.
