Imran Khan sheds the lean look he sported in his debut film for a bulkier frame in Soham Shah's Luck. The actor who didn't flex any muscles in Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na will be sporting a toned torso for his next project. Post JTYJN. Imran will be seen in Sanjay Gadhvi's Kidnap and Luck.
A source close to Imran reveals how he's been hitting the gym and eating properly to tone up. Apparently, Imran has a naturally lean frame and has problems putting on weight. "Imran was skinny as a teen. He didn't have the frame he has now.
In fact, he loves to eat but doesn't put on much weight. For Jaane Tu, he was asked to remain lean for the young chocolate boy look. However for his upcoming films, he has to tone up his body."
Baring it
Apparently, in Luck, Imran may have to do some bare bodied scenes and has to tone up. During the media interactions of Jaane Tu, Imran had maintained that he had begun gymming in earnest due to his film commitments and was also taking care of his diet.
The actor leaves on July 25 for the South Africa schedule of Luck in which he will be flaunting the tattoo that he had hidden in Jaane Tu.
Character demands
"My character in Jaane Tu was not someone who'd get himself inked. As a result, I had to use make-up to hide it or cover it with my shirt and T-shirt. But in Luck, I will be seen in a vest and my character in this action flick is such that he can have a tattoo," says Imran.
Interestingly, Imran's tattoo was done several years ago when he was still a teenager. "At that time there were no tattoo parlours like today. My friend and I am have been inked in a similar way on the nape of the neck. In fact, he designed it and we had to go to a doctor to get it done. At that time, we were the very few who got ourselves inked. Now of course, everyone's into it."

Kaal director Soham Shah's Luck, produced by Ashtavinayak, is an action thriller with a starry male line-up with each of the actors flaunting a single, distinct style throughout the film. Kamal Haasan's daughter Shruti makes her B-Town debut.
Sanjay Dutt plays a don and his bearded appearance has been styled by Aalim Hakim. Mithun Chakraborthy essays a retired major the role is an extension of what he did in Ghulam as Jabbar Singh.
