The war between the Bawejas and the Khans is now over.
Harman Baweja's film Love Story 2050 was pitched against Imran Khan's Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na. Harman was at the receiving end of some harsh comments, sohe impulsively decided to sort out the uncalled-for rivalry with Imran's mentor and uncle Aamir.
I believe you
According to sources, "The two had a long, very fruitful chat on Sunday night at the peak of the televised tu-tu-main-main between the two films. The stories of one-upmanship were making the Bawejas deeply embarrassed.
Aamir was extremely gentle and gracious with Harman saying he saw no reason for the acrimony. The senior actor also generously complimented Harman and said he didn't believe Harman would ever speak against him."
The conversation dissolved all rancour between the two parties. And now, Harman now plans to see Imran's film and Aamir intends to watch Love Story 2050 soon.
Too personal
Harman fought shy of sharing the peace plan, "This is too personal. All I can say is, I'm too small and too new to even dream of offending Aamir. He's one of my favourite actors. I haven't seen Imran's film as yet. But I believe he and the film are good. I sincerely wish him all the best."
Room for all
Adds Harman's father producer-director Harry Baweja, "I really don't know how and where this rivalry started. We made our film and Aamir's team made their own. Love Story 2050 is very different from Jaane Tu And Harman and Imran have been accepted as two very different debutants. I'm sure there's room for both the boys because they're good.
Thus ends one more spicy filmy war.
