Shetty sisters turn business women
Bollywood actresses Shamita and Shilpa Shetty would not sizzle often on the silver screen. For, they are concentrating on their new business.
Shetty Sisters have started their production house and plan two films to hit the floors before the year ends. Of course, they would take Raj Kundra's help, who had produced the film 'Stranger', but attracted fame once he started seeing Shilpa. But that doesn't mean that the duo is thinking of tying the knot so soon, as Shamita denies the rumors of Shilpa getting married to Raj Kundra anytime in the near future.
Along with setting up the new production house, Shamita, at present, is working on a promotional song for 'Hari Puttar' for good friend Manish Puri, the CEO of Mirchi Movies, which is producing the film. Shamita, who hasn't been seen recently on the big screen, is apparently waiting for a perfect script. Shamita also confirms that the film from their production house will not have the two sisters together but may see one of them featuring in different films.
Well, we wish the Shetty sisters all the best for their new endeavour.
Rajeev set to Romance
Rajeev Khandelwal has not just won rave reviews but also female adulation for his debut film, 'Aamir'!
The film, which opened last week, has received unanimous praise from critics and audiences, a remarkable feat in today's times. Rajeev, not one to rest on his past laurels, has already signed his second film with UTV Spotboy, the same production house that produced 'Aamir'.
This time Rajeev will switch genres and work in a romantic comedy directed by India based British filmmaker John Owen. The love story set in Goa, is titled 'Peter Gaya Kaam Se'. In the film Rajeev will play the role of Peter, taxi driver. The film will be shot in Goa and will begin right after the monsoons sometime in September. Finally, audiences will get to see a female lead opposite Rajeev, unlike his debut 'Aamir' and although the actor for the role is yet to be finalised, most likely UTV Spotboy will opt for a newcomer. Whoever she might be, Rajeev's fans are waiting to see him with Amna Shariff on the big screen. Guess, we have to wait a little longer to seen the 'friendly' pair on the big screen.
Summer 2007 In Summer 2008
Newcomer Sikander Kher's second release 'Summer 2007', which follows closely on the release of his debut film 'Woodstock Villa', was premiered on June 12 at Fun Republic. Several celebrities joined the show.

The entire cast, comprising Sikanker, Gul Panag, Yuvika Choudhary, Alekh, Arjan Bajwa and Ashutosh Rana were present. The film deals with several rural issues which often those of living in the urban metros are oblivious to. In fact the cast too has admitted that they have learnt a lot while working on the film.
Kiran Kher who walked the red carpet along with son Sikander says she is feeling proud of Sikander for being part of this film and playing such an important character in it. Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi also blessed the young actors and said they were impressed with the concept of the film and were eager to see how it has been portrayed.
