Oh dear, Rishi kapoor mentioned his family once during the Saawarya days, that so means he's publicizing his family.😆
Considering that they are the true royal family of bollywood, the kapoors have kept a dignified silence, and have never tried to boost their family members based on their surname.
Kareena till this day has not starred in any one of the RK banner films. WHen her career needed help, it would've been the perfect time for her father to revive the banner and produce a movie. But she made it on her own without her family support.
Ranbir was debuting, and he is raj kapoor's grandson. His family has a legacy that everyone's aware of. Rishi spoke about it once or twice. Compare that to the other self promoting families we have. I dont even need to name them.
Dont even start to compete when it comes to promoting famililes. Only one name comes to everyone's mind.

im not a big fan of kareena but she made it without the kapoor family help and name and has been successful on her own status

she had many flops before and its taken her tym to become what she is today and dats the same with her sister even she struggled from the start

No one is denyng Karishma or Kareena's struggle but tht doesnt give them any rigt to call othr ppl names or to brand them as 'non-actresses'......

Karishma probably had to struggle much more than Kareena did. Karishma was the top heroine in the indsutry when Kareena debuted so it wasnt tht bad for Kareena afterall.....

And it's not lik Kareena hasnt boosted of her family name......I remember when the Shahid-Kareena kiss MMS leaked out, she went arnd sayin 'mein kapoor khandan ki ladki hoon...so I'd nvr do something lik this.' She has used her family name to save herself frm shame....

As for the Kapoors v/s Bahchans family promotions thing----well both the famiies r embarrassments in their own ways! The Kapoors totally lack etiquette and the Bahchans r just boring n many a times fake with their 'we r a happy family' bashan!

Gosh leave the kapoors alone whatever they behave like is there problem however it does not give them the right to do anything either or to be put on a pedestal just because like every other star kid they have produced generations of them instead of one or two..it should be talent alone which i guess they have done ok as for personal lives all bollywood stars par a few have very murky real lifes 🤢

Yeah no need to highlight their personal lives just coz there's are known and in the limelight. Its a lot easier to pick on the kapoors coz ppl know so much about em.

I agree with breathing_irony... Kareena's mellowed down a lot. From her first KWK appearence to most of her media interviews now, there's a lot of difference.

As far as Kapoor family's concerned... I agree with MrsAckles where their personal lives are concerned... but who knows, we don't even know much about the personal lives of other families e.g. Khans, Bachchans etc. As far as promotion of Saawariya's concerned, I thikn Rishi Kapoor just wanted to wish luck to the next fourth generation of Kapoor males (i.e. Ranbir) and talked about him a little.

the media are always out to degrade a family or sumk1 and hav done to bachans and kapoors, but we do not know them and every family has their problems you cant be perfect

No she's not, she just had a fight with Bipz and few others in the beginning of her career. She was like 20/21 yrs old then.
She's 27 now, and she's matured considerably. 😊
