Shahid won't attend as he's guarding his look for a new project
Shahid Kapur will not attend the IIFA weekend in June in Bangkok. Reason? The actor is getting into the 'skin' of the character for Vishal Bhardwaj's next, based on Romeo and Juliet even as he shuttles between his other project, the one with Ken Ghosh.
According to a source, "The actor is developing a new look for Vishal's movie and doesn't want to make public appearances prior to its release. He is planning to do something out of the ordinary.
Shahid wants to go the Aamir way and is spending a lot of time preparing for the role."
Clash control
The source adds, "He is already shooting for Ken Ghosh's untitled film opposite Jiah Khan.
The actor is keen on getting major portions of this particular film so that the look doesn't clash with the one he is planning for Vishal's film."
