The torture increases three times over as he readies for a triple role!
'U, Me aur Hum's surprise success has opened far too many doors for Ajay Devgan. Latest is that the guy has signed up for a triple role in the new film 'Raghupati Raghav Rajaram' with Eros Entertainment.
And he's not just acting in the movie but directing it too. One Ajay was too much to handle! Now there'll be three Ajay's hanging around and to top it all, he'll be calling the shots as well! On the lines of Gandhiji's three monkeys,maybe!
Gawd... looks like Ajay plans to scale newer heights of self obsession with this movie!
Speaking of self obsession, no one can better Aamir Khan in that area. His 'Taare Zameen Par' was a far superior movie. But instead of creating good will, he decided to develop verbal diarrhoea (though he didn't exactly speak out, he let his blog do all the dirty talking) and get even with whomever possible.
Can't blame people for wanting to keep safe distance!
Now even after making a lousy movie like that, Ajay's flooded with offers and is all over the place! Keeping all ends happy pays big time, huh!
The Eros guys are reportedly impressed with Ajay's directorial debut and have offered him some sort of business collaboration for his next action flick. Then they also decided to approach him for this project. And Ajay showed keen interest because he fell in love with the whole idea!
Earlier playing multiple roles was stylish in Govinda kind of flicks. Remember 'Had Kar Di Aapne' where he portrayed the grandfather, grandmother, father, sister, mother and God knows what all, in the course of those torturous three hours. 'Coolie number 1', 'Bade Miyaan Chote Miya' and so on also had glimpses of this predictable trend!
Govinda ishtyle has long run out of fashion and Ajay probably wants to revive it his own special way!
Come on, doesn't he have to show the world that he can be different and versatile too?
Confirms an executive from Eros, "Devgan is currently very busy with a lot of work but he has given a positive response to the triple role project. He is happy with the idea of acting and also directing the movie. Things will be finalised very soon and after that an announcement will be made."
Ajay is very likely to do the movie. Everybody is sucking up to his demands here. He'll also get to make changes in the script. And yeah, he is feeling all important about giving orders and people taking them!
The buzz is that if handled well it may be one of the best projects of his career. Yeah, of course if it doesn't get lost as Ajay gets busy flaunting himself, himself and only himself on screen!
Ajay will make the final decision once he is back from Goa where he is holidaying with Kajol, Tanuja, his daughter Nyasa and sis-in-law Tanishaa!
As for those who thought his ghost directed 'Raju Chacha' sucked and 'U, Me aur Hum' was sickening, there is far more torment around the corner!
