Amisha Patel is one of the most improved celebrities of the year after she has come up with knock-out performance in Ankahee, this year is not any different. Although her releases this year has been credited as 'extended cameos' in movies such as Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd. & Bhool Bhulaiyaa, she has still made her presence felt and delivered notable performances. Whether she played a bubbly funny girl or an adopted heartbroken daughter, Amisha has caught the appreciation of the audience after quite a long time and we are hoping for the best in her future projects! Amisha is slowly but surely rising again after Gadar precisely.

Kareena Kapoor

Kareena Kapoor has delivered one unexpected performance in her romantic flick, Jab We Met. Not many had expected her to rock as she has failed to deliver in similar roles she has done in the past such as K3G and many more. Kareena has surprised us with a natural performance in last year's release Omkara and this year is no different. The actress has started to grow by every film and seems to have a very bright future in Bollywood.

Shahid Kapoor

Over the years, Shahid has been always getting better with each film not to mention some superb performances like in Ishq Vishk, Vivah or Fida although there have been a few disappointments such as 36 China Town. With Jab We Met, he has taken a huge leap as an actor. He took the right turn by doing something completely different from all his previous roles which were most probably the same.

Vidya Balan

One of the best actresses we have today and got a wonderful debut, Vidya Balan. From Parineeta to Bhool Bhulaiyaa, no one ever thought that Vidya would carry off a complex role in Bhool Bhulaiyaa but she has sprung a surprise! One can trust Vidya that she can handle any kind of role especially after watching her excellent performance in the film. The girl defines every role she plays so beautifully, whether it's the innocent Tehzeeb in Salaam-E-Ishq or the misunderstood Esha in Heyy Babyy. The girl has been going for new avatars in every film such as Heyy Babyy, she used a completely different look wherein she looked lovely.

Govinda

After a hiatus, Govinda was back in Priyadarshan's Bhagam Bhag followed by Salaam-E-Ishq. But it is Partner which is his comeback film as he gets a great role and performs it really well that he surprisingly steals the limelight from Salman Khan as his previous films where extreme letdowns. Since then, Govinda has been flooded with offers be it Money Hai To Honey Hai or Run Bhola Run in which he's alongside Amisha Patel.

Fardeen Khan

Last year seemed like the infamous Khan finally decided to put up his career on sincerity. He has come up with some notable performances such as Just Married, Heyy Babyy and Darling though Heyy Babyy was the only one to rock at the box office as the rest bombed. Nevertheless, Fardeen grabbed high appreciation of the audiences.

Katrina Kaif

Katrina Kaif, known as Sallu's girl, has astonished us this year by delivering a magnificent performance in her first leading role as Jazz (Jasmeet) in Namastey London. Unfortunately, our Kat has not been given a chance before but after watching this we just wish to see more of this girl in meatier roles. By delivering such a performance, she proves that she is here to stay and not just a pretty face that most of her previous and recent films have proven.

Arjun Rampal

Arjun Rampal has finally proven himself in the recently released Shahrukh Khan starrer, Om Shanti Om. After spending many years in the industry, the actor got many opportunities but never lived up to the expectations although a few performances have been commendable such as Vaada, Ek Ajnabee & Don to name a few. People always took saw him as an eyecandy but not an actor but in Om Shanti Om, he proves the opposite. The actor just needs strong directors and has to become selective and be more careful of his choices.
