Hi friends,
Right from the beginning, director Rajkumar Gupta has been in the news for his experimental style of filmmaking in Aamir. Gupta has been pushing debutante Rajeev Khandelwal to his limits as an actor. There were times when Rajeev didn't even know where the camera was placed and where he was supposed to face. Major portions of the film were shot via instructions on the phone. He was told when to run and scream, etc. Apparently, all this was done deliberately so as to give the scenes an authentic look, says Gupta. "We shot major scenes with instructions on the phone. It sounds easy when you think of it, but believe me its not. We discussed the scene before our takes but while canning the shot, I used to change my ideas and instruct Rajeev to do something that was apparently not discussed. He never disappointed and came out with some excellent shots." Well new and innovative thrills are definitely going to be a delight to watch. |
