Vishal Bharadwaj wants Priyanka Chopra for his next

Bollywood's super-talented director Vishal Bharadwaj is ready to make his next flick.

After superb adaptations of MacBeth ( Maqbool ) and Othello ( Omkara ), Bharadwaj is not returning to Shakespeare. Even though rumours have it that his next film is an adaptation of Romeo and Juliet, Bharadwaj says he is making a film on an original subject.

For the leading roles, Bharadwaj wants to cast Shahid Kapur and Priyanka Chopra .

While Shahid has already been confirmed for the project, negotiations are going on with Priyanka who is presently shooting Karan Johar's home production Dostana in Miami.

Priyanka will take a final call on the project after she returns to Mumbai in May.

Meanwhile, Vishal has scrapped his plan to make a biopic on Fearless Nadia, the hunterwali.
