2007 was not a great year for Priyanka Chopra. Her only release Salaam-e-Ishq, which released at the very beginning of the year, bombed at the box-office. But 2008 promises a lot more. She will be seen in 5 films this year and that too in varied roles. Take a look
June 13: Love Story 2050 - Produced and directed by Harry Baweja, this futuristic Sci-Fi film will see her being paired opposite boyfriend Harman Baweja. She is playing a double role in the film.
July 11: God Tussi Great Ho – This Rumi Jaffrey directed film is based on Jim Carrey's Bruce Almighty. She will be seen with Salman Khan. Both Sallu and Priyanka Chopra are playing TV journalists in this romantic comedy.
August 15: Drona – In this supernatural film, she will be playing the royal bodyguard of Abhishek Bachchan. Priyanka will be performing quite a few stunts for this movie and had even learnt desi martial arts. The film will be clashing with Yash Raj's Bachna Ae Haseeno
Her two other films Fashion and Dostana will be releasing towards the end of the year.
Fashion will unravel the dark side of the Fashion industry in which Priyanka and Kangana Ranuat are playing rival supermodels. The film has been shot in Paris, Milan. Dharma Productions' Dostana directed by Tarun Mansukhani is a love triangle featuring Abhishek, John and Priyanka. The filming is currently on in Miami.
Priyanka's secretary Chandan Tiwari told us, "She is very excited about all her films since they have great stars and different concepts."
