'I hate my profession' - Arshad Warsi By Webmaster, 20 April, 2008 |
![]() "These are the times I hate my profession," he cribbed, "I'm missing my family so much. I'm not very happy about being so busy. I'm a family guy, I absolutely love the home scenario, playing WWF with my son and just being around at home." But look at the silver lining, it means he is getting bucketloads of work. "Now, I'm off to Mauritius for 10 days. Then I'm going to Goa for another 10 days. Post Goa, to London for a week, then back in Mumbai for a week and then to London again for two-and-a-half months! This is a very long time away from home and I'm not enjoying it. I've been out since long and I'm not getting back anytime soon," he says, refusing to be consoled. Well, that's some schedule for sure. Does that mean no time to chill out? "My time is not going to happen anytime soon. This isn't fair on me – the quintessential family guy!" he adds. With films Shortcut and Golmaal Returns ready, Arshad says that he is looking forward to working in other genres now. "The Vishal Bhardwaj film that I'm a part of is a bit strange in terms of language and behaviour. There's also a romantic film happening and some action films too. I'm going to kick ass soon!" he says cheerfully. http://filmicafe.com/news_detail.php?news_id=5725 |
