First Look: Singh is Kinng
Anees Bazmee directed Singh is Kinng is about a small town Sikh boy (Akshay Kumar called as Happy Singh) who turns into a sinister underworld gangster due to circumstances. Katrina Kaif plays his love interest Soni. She will be seen in a bridal role for the first time.

Akki performed a stunt for this film which required him to jump from one moving elevator to the other at a height of a whopping 110 feet! The USP of this stunt was the fact that Akki did all of this not only without using a duplicate but also without any safety harness!
About half the movie was shot in Australia around the Gold Coast region and the makers are scheduled to continue filming in Mumbai. It is also said that one song is to be shot in Egypt between the pyramids
The Akshay – Katrina pairing was last seen in the blockbuster Welcome. Produced by Vipul Shah, Singh is Kinng is slated to release on August 8.
