During the recording of Kareena Kapoor's act for the 53rd Fair One Filmfare awards, Saif Ali Khan showed more dedication than Bebo herself. He was a permanent fixture at the shoot, arriving well on time and staying put in Bebo's room through the day.
What did he do there? Well, he stared at his love through the mirror as she got her make-up done and admired her from every angle, punctuating his sighs with compliments. "Have you seen, Bebo has put on a little weight now?" he said, to anyone who would listen. "I've told her not to lose any more weight. Doesn't she look perfect now?"
Yes Saif, Bebo is the most perfect woman in the world. No Saif, she should not lose any more weight.

Meanwhile, another eyewitness ran into Saif on Friday night at the lobby of a suburban five-star hotel. He was seated on a sofa in the lobby. Says our source, "Saif was completely caught up in a heated conversation with Kareena on the phone. It was obvious from his tone and body language that he was trying to explain something to her, but in vain. He was so engrossed in his argument that he didn't even notice Aamir Khan who entered the lobby area and seated himself right near Saif. He continued with his phone call, without a glance at Aamir."
Next, Nisha Kothari entered the lobby. Nisha noticed Saif and walked up to him to greet him. Little did she know what was in store when she approached him. The harried lover simply turned round and said, "I'm stressed out right now. Please leave me alone." Not knowing where to look, Nisha beat a hasty retreat.
We called up Nisha Kothari to double-check this. Said Nisha, "Yes, I did walk up to Saif, but nothing happened and I don't want to talk about the incident at all."
Later the actor, dressed in a bright green tee and jeans, moved towards the reception area, probably because he realised he was attracting too much attention in the looby. Says our source, "By this time, he had stopped arguing on the phone and was smiling."
Soon after that he was at the entrance of the hotel. Kareena, dressed in a black top and jeans, had come there, accompanied by her mother Babita.
What followed next was a sight that would have pleased the shutter bugs. "Saif greeted Babita warmly and then gave Kareena a warm hug and kissed her on the lips. He then escorted the ladies to the elevator area," says our source.
We simply had to call up Saif to ask what he had been arguing about, with Bebo. But an irritated Saif only said, "It was not a heated conversation and I had a nice dinner with her mother after that." All's well that ends well.

Now Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan will star in Karan Johar's next
Looks like Karan Johar is making sure that his reconciliation with Kareena Kapoor is as big as it gets. KJo has roped in Bebo's current boyfriend Saif Ali Khan to star opposite her in his next film. The couple is slated to make an appearance together in Yashraj's Tashan. KJo's untitled film is being directed by Renzil D'souza, writer of Rang De Basanti and is all set to go on the floors by the end of the year.
Our source says, "Karan and Kareena had a spat during the making of Kal Ho Na Ho, following which Kareena was replaced by Preity Zinta. Karan and Kareena were not on talking terms for a long time thereafter. Even Shahid, who was Kareena's boyfriend at that time, walked out of Kaal which was produced by Karan."
According to our source the duo eventually patched up and Kareena publicly said that she would be happy to do any film with Karan "whom she considered to be her brother."
Our source continues, "There were also talks of Kareena signing Tarun Mansukhani's film, which is being produced by Karan. However, it didn't materialise as Abhishek Bachchan was a part of that project. Now, KJo is making a film with Kareena and Saif in the lead."
When contacted, Kareena Kapoor confirmed the story and said, "Yes, I will be doing Renzil's film which is being produced by Karan. We will begin shooting for the film in October. I am paired opposite Saif in the film. The entire film will be shot in London. I have a very impactful role."
The film will have one more actor in the male lead who is yet to be finalised.
