If Hollywood had their Oscars then, it was Bollywood, who celebrated the Filmfare Awards the same weekend. The Bollywood glitterati were all out revealing their best couture from their wardrobe.

SRK and Saif Ali Khan hosted the awards nite at the Yashraj Studios and we must share that the two were simply awesome and so were Kareena Kapoor and Deepika Padukone, who spiced up the night with their perfect groove.

SRK also, won the best Filmfare award for his performance in 'Chak De'; his role as Kabir Khan was cherished by fans all across and it came no surprise to us when his name was announced.

Kareena Kapoor rocked 2007 with her performance in 'Jab We Met' and she did take the black lady home. Now, Aamir does not accept awards, but he was still bestowed with the Best Director Award for 'Taare Zameen Par' and his protge Darsheel Safary was given an award not in the 'Children Category', but the Best Actor's Critic Award; hope that makes the little kid happy.

Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika were announced the Best Newcomer; 'Guru' bagged 2 awards; for the Best Music which went to AR Rahman and then, for the Best Choreography to Saroj Khan.

Overall the Awards night was fun and with all the Bollywood glamour and mind-blowing performance, it can very well be described as 'Filmi-Fare'.
