Ajay Devgan to woo Kajol
Here's a sneak peak at Ajay Devgan's much awaited directorial debut U, Me aur Hum which stars Ajay and wife Kajol.
Ajay Devgan plays a psychiatrist, Ajay, in the film and his first meeting with Pia played by Kajol involves a whole lot of alcohol. The first time Pia meets Ajay she is serving drinks to him and from their first meeting onwwards Ajay is completely besotted by Pia. While Pia on the other hand can't believe what a fool Ajay is making of himself under the influence of alcohol. And thus begins the story of Ajay (Ajay Devgan) and Pia (Kajol). A love story, that begins at sea on a cruise liner!
It is believed that Devgan's U, Me aur Hum draws its inspiration from the romantic film The Notebook starring Ryan Gosling and Rachael Mc Adams. The Notebook opens with an old man reading a story about two young lovers to an old woman in an old age home and the film will show the couple going back and forth from their youth to growing old together.
The trailers of the film are expected to hit the cinemas from Jan 11 with the release of Halla Bol. Produced & directed by Ajay Devgan, this emotional love story stars Ajay Devgan and Kajol in the lead along with Divya Dutta, Sumeet Raghvan, Karan Khanna and Isha Sharvani.
U, Me Aur Hum is set for release on April 11th, 2008.
